Become a Certified Community Partner

The Good Place Institute equips and empowers like-minded leaders who share the vision of multiplying Good Places. Through participation in our Community Partner foundational certification training workshop, you can become certified to market GPI services and products to external clients through your organization or as an independent contractor.

Certified Community Partners receive remuneration for marketing GPI when client projects you initiate are delivered.

Becoming a Certified Community Partner is right for you if you are passionate about multiplying Good Places and helping others become aware of the opportunity to build and steward Good Place organizations. As a Certified Community Partner, you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Develop awareness and interest in The Good Place Institute
  • Set up and attend sales and development meetings
  • Receive compensation for marketing GPI when client projects you initiate are delivered
  • Collaborate with GPI through ongoing support, communication, and feedback
  • Attend monthly stewardship meetings and annual events or conferences

How to Become a Certified Community Partner

Becoming a Certified Community Partner is easy:

1. Apply

— complete an application process and schedule a call with GPI to see if becoming a Certified Community Partner at the Good Place Institute is right for you.

2. Equip

— attend applicable training workshops with GPI (online or in-person) to become equipped with everything you need to market, sell, and/or deliver specific GPI products and services.

3. Multiply

— use the Good Place principles, tools, materials, resources, and ongoing support to multiply Good Places and receive compensation based on the level of engagement.

As a Certified Community Partner, you’ll get…

1-year certification agreement as a Certified Community Partner.

Independent Contractor status with GPI and recognition on the GPI website under the “Our Partners” section.

Exclusive GPI Certified Community Partner certificate and seal that can be used on your social media profiles or marketing materials.

Special access to GPI marketing materials, resources, tools, and templates.

Collaboration with the GPI team and other certified partners through periodic meetings and events.

Access to a centered-set community passionate about multiplying Good Places.

Discounts on GPI conferences, events, and products.

Yes. Certified Partners are independent contractors certified as Community Partners to market GPI products and services. For each level of certification, you invest your time and money in training workshops to get certified in the areas you agree to market GPI products and services.

Yes. There is an annual certification fee commensurate with your type of certification.

In addition to an exclusive GPI Certified Community Partner certificate and seal that can be used on your social media profiles or marketing materials, the investment also gives you access to GPI’s intellectual property. This includes assets such as current and updates to marketing materials, sales, and delivery tools, resources, templates, and support as applicable per certification level (Community Partner, Partner Consultant) and in the applicable area(s) of completed certification; use of brand and logo; photo and bio listing on Good Place Institute web site; collaborative communication calls and events; topic refreshers; discounts on GPI conferences, events, and products.
