Gary Matson

Gary spent the early part of his career as a management consultant and human resources professional. More recently, he has served as a VP of HR, Director of European Corporate Affairs, and Chief People Officer. With nearly two decades of experience in large global food companies, Gary has overseen all aspects of people resources while actively contributing to strategic planning, innovation, change management, learning & engagement, leadership succession, communications, and operational excellence. He has served on several not-for-profit boards, including the Boys and Girls Club, for over ten years and their Board Chair for three years.

Gary is excited to join the Good Place Institute team to share his skills and experiences to equip and empower leaders through the Good Place Organization Operating System with the tools to create thriving organizations—where shalom and economic sustainability are key priorities.
